Mastering the EVOscreen Display: a step-by-step guide for Smeg Ovens

From powering up the oven and setting the clock to selecting traditional, combined, and special cooking modes,  learn how to navigate the interface with ease and make the most of its features.

How to switch on the oven

To turn on the oven, press the power button and wait for the display to start. 
 

How to set the clock

Before first use, you must set the current time. 
Otherwise, the oven will not turn on or start any cooking function. This step is essential for proper operation.

Setting cooking functions

Traditional cooking

Smeg traditional cooking functions refer to the conventional heating modes found in their ovens, designed for various cooking needs. They include static, fan assisted and circulaire cooking,  grill, bottom heat and eco function.

Steam and combi-steam cooking

Steam cooking keeps food moist, enhances tenderness, and reduces fat use for healthier meals.

For the oven with touch usability, the process remains the same, but parameter selection is done using the touch icons with arrows instead of rotating the right knob.
 

Microwave and combi-microwave cooking

Microwave cooking is fast, efficient, and preserves nutrients by reducing cooking time.
